You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands.

I'll give you a little direction when you need it, but for most of the day I'm simply watching for what's happening.

You'll spend your wedding with your favourite people — not with me.

And when we do sneak away for some photos of the two of you, we'll keep it relaxed, quick and completely yourselves.

I'm a documentary wedding photographer based in Nottinghamshire, photographing weddings across the Midlands, Yorkshire and beyond.

I'm there for the big stuff, obviously — but I'm probably even more interested in everything happening around it.

The nervous looks. Your mum's face during the ceremony. Your mates being idiots. The hug you didn't know happened.

I want you to look through your photographs and remember what your wedding actually felt like.

And I'm very much not going to turn it into an eight-hour photoshoot.
